   If you have the file you want to share some files to another person in the organization. What would you do?

Old System

In the past, we tend to copy down flopydisk, write down or copy to cd, handy drive or sent via email. we think you've probably heard that we can share files from one machine to another through Intranet.  This is not really any new technology at all.  But if people do not know, think it may be a complex because it is the network which requires experts to install or maintain.

           5. And very important is the information you will not be lost because all storage is centralized. If some employee have virus in his PC, all data of staff not loss because all data is in the server and easy to set new again

This method is not recommended for the organization because it not stable and convenient, but it good if you need to make it Temporary

1.    Setting user computer, and share folder together

2.    For example Computer “A” share folder “Document”

3.    Computer “B” Share folder Photos

4.    All of computer in network connect to Computer “A” all computer will can access the Data from computer “A” and computer “A” can access data from computer “B” too


Why it not suitable for organization, 

Case 1: Computer “A” is used in the office all day, Although Computer “A” have a very good Antivirus Program if virus attacks or whatever hardware down etc. it means all computers in network cannot access data to Computer “A”

And don’t forget most building has charge services for connect line/media from internet/telephone provider direct to your floor and room 3,000-10,000  THB/Line

       2.       You must have device name is “Modem Router” this device may be internet provider (ISP) will give for you free (price 2,000-10,000 THB Up to Brand) and already have manual documents to setup.

        3.       If your company need to make cable (LAN)

You must have Device name is “HUB” this device you can order from IT store Pantip Plaza (price 2,000-10,000 THB Up to Brand, and number of Port)

And don’t forget for Lan cable cost in Thailand most of company evaluate price from HUB to end point (Start 800-1,600 THB/Point) if you have 10 pc you must pay on this process about 10,000-20,000 THB

      4.       If your company need to make Print Center

You must buy printer approximately (100,000-200,000 THB for multi printer that include scan, fax, laser color print, and build in Network print)  I recommend this case because it stable, printer company technician will take care you and good services but you must pay a lot of cost for Ink that so expensive

In fact you can make a simple sharing printer network by (Buy basic printer 3,000 THB + Print Server 3,000 THB Sum 6,000 THB) this case is good if you have personal IT technical in your office because this case is not stable

5.       If you need to make Data Server

Data Server so important for organization because it can protect your data in many situations better than save data in staff computer  

You must buy one Server (20,000 – 100,000 THB up on server technology)

This process you should to consult with Network Engineer before to buy server

6.       Need to make all notebook connect to your Wireless Network

In normally, after you completed to install intra network, the engineer will give you wireless network for you can connect your notebook to the wireless Network

     The main problem is “After-sales service” it very important because in all Network Installation Process that install by Specialist, All process has a technical data in all devices it very hard to sole by yourself or another engineer for example If you company internet and network is “Down”
